Rule of Law: Creating Stavility in Developing Countries

 On Wednesday, February 19, the Peninsula Chapter and the Los Altos Public Library are sponsoring an event with Erik Jensen, Professor of Law and Director of the Rule of Law Program at Stanford Law School. He will be speaking on “Rule of Law: Creating Stability in Developing Countries.” The discussion will draw upon their program projects to describe the promise and shortcomings of achieving democracy, stability, security, and economic growth in developing countries through implementing the rule of law.



The event will be at the Los Altos Youth Center, 1 North San Antonio Road, at the usual times of 7:00 pm for refreshments and 7:30 to 9:00 pm for the program.
