Sailings in Europe

Sailings in Europe and Beyond

If someone tells me they don’t like cruising, I tell them, you went on the wrong cruise line. One chap told me that his bar bill is usually more than the cost of the cruise. I told him that he should work with a travel professional who can guide him to the right cruise line, and in his case, one which is all inclusive.

This means your suite is stocked with a tailored mini bar, for example, I drink Bristol Cream Sherry and my husband drinks Grey Goose Vodka. You have a butler and personalized service, diversity of dining venues, beverages in suite and throughout the ship including select wines, premium spirits, specialty coffees and soft drinks, complimentary in suite dining and 24 hour room service. I have a client who never goes to a restaurant, they prefer to dine in their suite and watch a movie. You can be casual the entire trip, no dressing up if you don’t want to. Sophisticated entertainment from live music to production shows, enrichment lecturers, acclaimed chefs and destination consultants, complimentary transportation into town in most ports, gratuities always included in your fare, free wi-fi throughout the ship, open seating dining option. My husband likes to go to a lecture, and I take the cooking classes.

Some horror stories of people going on the wrong cruise line,

One lady told me she was shocked to find a $3,500 charge on her bill for Wi-fi while on board. Another didn’t take all the tours she would have liked to have gone on because of the expense. Dealing with a travel consultant who knows what questions to ask you is extremely important. Another important issue is to take care of the elderly. If most of the ports have tenders this can be difficult to get in and out of a moving small vessel just to get into the port. It’s impossible for those on a walker, or using a cane. Do you want to go on a ship with 5,000 passengers, or a smaller ship which gives you first class service. The passenger didn’t know they had to pay $14 for a martini, $13 for a glass of wine, $4 for a bottle of water, $4 for an ice cream, $4 for a cup of coffee, and all the sightseeing was an added cost.

I think most people would like to see the world in style. My husband has been spoilt, and now prefers a private car and driver to go sightseeing. When he has had enough, he says – let’s go back to the ship. You aren’t on a bus with 50 other people and herded around on a strict schedule.

I use only four cruise lines for my VIP clients and my aim is to keep them happy.

I read a brochure last night which tickled my fancy. Having been on over 100 cruises, I know a good deal when I see one. Silversea is an excellent choice and for a limited time only, they have an air inclusive pricing on select sailings. A good travel professional can find first class and business class air fare if that is what you would like, at a great discount. It is important to go to the port of departure one or two days before the sailing, and we can get you a great hotel with a room upgrade and a free breakfast.

Pick the destination first. Have you been everywhere? Then choose something different. The Mediterranean is always a popular choice The British Isles is a wonderful choice, along with Scandinavia and Russia. Silver Seas even has sailings to South America and Antarctica and Arctic expeditions. Go on our web site – www.allhorizonstvlcom – and read about the great exclusive offers we have for you.

Start dreaming…..
