If someone tells me they don’t like cruising, I tell them, you went on the wrong cruise line. One chap told me that his bar bill is usually more than the cost of the cruise. The passenger didn’t know they had to pay $14 for a martini, $13 for a glass of wine, $4 for a bottle of water, $4 for an ice cream, $4 for a cup of coffee, and all the sightseeing was an added cost.

I think most people would like to see the world in style. My husband has been spoilt, and now prefers a private car and driver to go sightseeing. When he has had enough, he says – let’s go back to the ship. You aren’t on a bus with 50 other people and herded around on a strict schedule.

I use only four cruise lines for my VIP clients and my aim is to keep them happy.

I read a brochure last night which tickled my fancy. Having been on over 100 cruises, I know a good deal when I see one.
