My name is Clint Blakely and I’m a product of Mountain View High School's performing arts departments, where I fell in love with music singing with the Madrigals. I hold a BA in Jazz Voice from USC's Thornton School of Music. I've played &amp; sung music around the world – Los Angeles bars &amp; clubs, Amsterdam concert halls, Rio de Janeiro churches... I love teaching lessons over Zoom! For the past 5 years, I’ve taught students all over the world whose ages range from 4 years old to 60+. My students have a wide variety of skill levels, from complete beginners to 10+ years of prior study. In my lessons, I combine technical instruction and creative exercises within a fun, encouraging atmosphere. Those overdue books? The late book fine holiday is over, now that the Los Altos Library is open again. The library opened its doors Thursday after closing Oct. 19 for recarpeting, repairs and remodeling of the adult reference center. The Woodland Library Branch on Grant Road was open extended hours during the eight-day closure of the main library. All services were stopped and the book drop closed, so any materials checked out from the Los Altos Library were not due during the closure, said Jane Cronkhite, the community librarian.
