Traffic Officers To Descend On 3 Santa Clara Co. Cities
The sheriff's office is hosting a "multi-agency traffic enforcement operation" next week.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA -- Residents of Los Altos Hills, Cupertino and Saratoga can expect to see a multitude of law enforcement officers patrolling their cities' streets Wednesday. Motorcycle and traffic patrol units with law enforcement agencies from across Santa Clara County will descend on the three cities for a multi-agency traffic enforcement event the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office is hosting, according to a news release.
"This large contingent of officers will be strictly enforcing traffic laws with purpose of creating a safer community for drivers and pedestrians," said Santa Clara County sheriff's Sgt. Rich Glennon.
Participating officers will meet for a briefing at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30 at Quinlan Community Center in Cupertino before fanning out across the three Santa Clara Valley cities for saturation enforcement, Glennon said.
