My name is Clint Blakely and I’m a product of Mountain View High School's performing arts departments, where I fell in love with music singing with the Madrigals. I hold a BA in Jazz Voice from USC's Thornton School of Music. I've played &amp; sung music around the world – Los Angeles bars &amp; clubs, Amsterdam concert halls, Rio de Janeiro churches... I love teaching lessons over Zoom! For the past 5 years, I’ve taught students all over the world whose ages range from 4 years old to 60+. My students have a wide variety of skill levels, from complete beginners to 10+ years of prior study. In my lessons, I combine technical instruction and creative exercises within a fun, encouraging atmosphere. I'll admit, I didn't jump on board the ugly sandal trend in spring of 2014 – I just couldn't do it.This past weekend, while away on a girls weekend with friends, I had a change of heart.In the morning while lounging in the kitchen sipping my coffee, versions of the footbed/ugly sandal begin to appear out of the bedrooms on my oh-so fashionable friends. When J appeared in her distressed jeans and a fancy looking gold Birkenstock looking sandal, "Ugly Sandal" immediately popped into my head – but she looked so cute in them.
