United States Marine Corps - Toys for Tots

All Horizons Travel is collecting once again, items for the Toys for Tots program.

United States Marine Corps – Toys for Tots

It’s that time of year again – we need your help and support.

My husband, Roy (Lieutenant Colonel LeRoy M. Jones – Retired ) was one of the founding members of the program with his U.S. Marine Corps unit in Los Angeles some fifty years ago and has been active each year since because it’s something he believes in. When the program was started, he and his men used to deliver the toys house to house to the needy children. Today, the program is nationwide, and Los Altos has been a wonderful supporter of the program for many years.

All Horizons Travel at 160 Main Street will be a drop off location for new, unwrapped toys, games and books. Having the items unwrapped makes for a much faster sorting of the gifts. Hours at 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. Monday thru Friday. The U.S. Marine Corps have told us that the last day for drop off will be Friday, 16 December, 2016 so keep this date in mind. We always have some last minute gifts but it will be appreciated if you can make sure you meet the deadline this year.

Please start early. Bring in your gifts for a very worthy cause. If it is easier to park at the back of the building, come thru the gate and leave the gifts at the door, we will be keeping an eye open for easy pick up for you.

All Horizons Travel and the U.S. Marine Corps thanks you for your support. Don’t let us down. Make this the biggest year for gifts ever.

Thank You – Semper Fi
