Upcoming Public Meetings: Animal Services Conversation for Los Altos and Palo Alto

Announcement from the city of Los Altos:
The City of Los Altos has contracted animal services and control with the City of Palo Alto for a number of years.
Over the past several years, Palo Alto Animal Services has experienced funding challenges which have led the department to implement and further evaluate a variety of operational changes in an effort to move the program towards cost neutrality.

Given that potentially dramatic changes will need to be made in how animal services are provided, the City of Palo Alto is beginning a community dialogue with a series of community conversations about the future of animal services.
These upcoming community meetings are intended to allow stakeholder groups to explore what the right public-private partnership model should be for animal services.

The following meetings are open to the public and all interested parties are encouraged to attend:
March 4, 11, 18 and 25
Time: 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
