What's Open and What's Closed on Presidents Day, Feb. 20
It's a great day for hitting sales or the slopes, but not for banking, going to the library or expecting frequent service on transit.
Veteran’s Day, is a federal and state holiday. Most government offices and schools are closed. However, some government services are operational such as county transit.
Closed:
- Santa Clara County Government Offices
- Los Altos City Hall
- Los Altos Hills Town Hall
- U.S. Post Offices
- Los Altos School District
- Mountain View-Los Altos High School District
- Cupertino Union School District
- Palo Alto Unified School District
- Fremont Union High School District
- Los Altos and Woodland libraries
- Most, if not all, banks
