Whodini: A Los Altos-Based Start-Up for Professionals Who Hate Assembling Resumes
VentureBeat spotlights a 1-year-old company that creates an auto-generated profile and allows people to discover colleagues with whom to collaborate on projects inside companies.

Venture Beat reported Tuesday about the newest social media site for professionals, a Los Altos-based startup that received $2 million in angel investment. It helps people automatically generate a detailed professional profile without much heavy lifting.

Resume building, after all, takes work. Think of the form you may have filled out on LinkedIn, trumpeting your accomplishments. And now think how many times a year or two later, you've thought, you really need to update your LinkedIn profile. Whodini profiles include expertise, current and previous projects, collaborators and responsiveness.
āWith Linkedin, youāre having to do stuff,ā said Choudhuri, the co-founder, president and COO, in the VentureBeat article by Regina Sinsky. āYou have to make updates; you have to write a resume. What we do is none of that.ā
