You will quickly understand what makes Germany so special!

I used to go to Germany every summer with my parents for a hiking holiday in the alps, and then we skied there in the winter and visited the Christmas markets. This was an easy journey for us from Great Britain. We took the ferry over the English channel, then went on the train to wherever was our final destination. I love the food, with its wine, beer, sausages, strudel, pastries and of course, its customs. The music makes you feel happy, every little village has a band, and the national dresses from the various regions makes the trip interesting. Germany offers one of a kind experiences for both the first time and returning travelers alike. Whether you want to explore new technology at Germany’s finest automobile museums or indulge in sweet treats at the Christmas markets, you will quickly understand what makes Germany so special. Its shopping is excellent, with leather goods being outstanding and its souvenirs are of high quality.
The sister cities of Bremen and Bremerhaven combine heritage and cosmopolitan culture. The Musicians Folktale in Bremen is worth a visit, and this 1200 year old city has lots of World Heritage sites. Hamburg is considered to be one of the most beautiful places in Germany, and Saxony is historic because of the Iron Curtain. Start in the city of Leipzig, and learn about the fall of the Berlin Wall. Bavaria is a must see, home to idyllic villages, gorgeous alpine scenery, along with the cosmopolitan capital of Munich and the tradition of its beer festival. A few days in Munich is well spent, there is lots of see and do. The Romantic Road and the German Alpine Road are popular tourist routes. Neuschwanstein is a fairytale like castle with thousands of steps to climb. Wouldn’t recommend it unless you are able to walk a great deal. The Black Forest is a great place to wander around, and the place to buy a cuckoo clock.
Stuttgart has the Mercedes-Benz and Porsche museums which are worth seeing. Baden-Wurttemberg region boasts more restaurants with Michelin stars than any other state of Germany.
