1 Rescued From House Fire That Sends 3 To Hospital
BREAKING: The blaze was on Plymouth Drive in nearby Saratoga.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA – One person was rescued Sunday night from a house fire in Saratoga that sent three people to a hospital including one with life-threatening injuries, a Santa Clara County fire spokesman said.
The fire was first reported 8:34 p.m. in the 12000 block of Plymouth Drive.
The first firefighters to arrive saw smoke coming from the house and learned that a man was still inside, spokesman Bill Murphy said.

Firefighters went inside and rescued the man as the home was burning.
The fire spread to the attic and roof, causing extensive damage and was knocked down just before 9 p.m., according to Murphy.

A second person suffered moderate injuries and another was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
