180 Los Gatos PG&E Customers Lose Power

Utility conducts planned shut-down as part of repairs.

About 180 customers in Los Gatos are without power this morning as part of a Pacific Gas & Electric planned shut down to conduct repairs to the utility, a spokeswoman said this morning.

The customers, who live in the area south of Blossom Hill Road to Shannon Road and west of Los Gatos Boulevard to Camden Avenue, were notified of the work by letter and phone calls, said PG&E spokeswoman Nicole Liebelt.

Some customers could see their power restored this morning, but some areas could be without power until about 4 p.m. today, she said.

The PG&E power outage map shows one outage affecting one customer in Los Gatos. It said the utility is investigating its cause.

The outage start time was reported at 8:14 a.m. Wednesday, May 15, with an estimated time of restoration at 11:45 a.m. today.
