Acclaimed concert pianist and Los Gatos native returns to the Bay Area to present two special concerts
MUSIC IS THE WAY presents An Evening of Original Classical Music
The San Francisco Bay Area will be in for a very special concert experience when locally renowned composer/pianist, Leanne Rees (USA/Los Gatos, CA) teams up with fellow composer/pianist, Egils Straume (Latvia) for two rare and unique evenings of original classical music. On Thursday, September 29th, Rees and Straume will perform at the Napa Valley Opera House, Napa CA (1030 Main Street, Napa) and on Friday, September 30th at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (50 Oak Street, San Francisco.) Maestros Egils Straume and Leanne Rees have created a dazzling program that will feature several original compositions four of which are World Premieres. Joining them will be Grammy Award winning clarinetist Eddie Daniels, The Angelo Piano Duo, Richard Mathias, alto sax, and Bernard Rubenstein conducting the Hollywood Chamber Orchestra. This acclaimed group of artists including the 21-piece Hollywood Chamber Orchestra, will be bringing an extraordinary program to the Bay Area for two concerts in September.
