The El Camino Healthcare District and El Camino Health have awarded $13.48 million in grants to support local health programs and services during fiscal year 2027. The organizations approved funding for 121 grants, including support for 25 new programs, reinforcing their shared commitment to improving health and well-being across the communities they serve.
"We're proud to support these community partners and the vital work they do to improve the health and well-being of residents throughout our district," said John Zoglin, chair of the El Camino Healthcare District Board of Directors. "By investing in organizations that are making a meaningful difference every day, we help strengthen the health of our communities and create lasting impact for those most in need."
The funding, distributed through the organizations' community benefit programs, will support nonprofits, school districts, community service agencies, and other organizations that address critical health needs and advance health equity throughout Campbell, Cupertino, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Los Gatos, Mountain View, San Jose, Santa Clara, Saratoga, and Sunnyvale.

"These grants reflect our ongoing commitment to supporting innovative programs that improve health outcomes, reduce barriers to care, and help build healthier communities."
Of the total funding awarded, $10.17 million comes from the El Camino Healthcare District, with the remaining funding provided by El Camino Health.

Each fiscal year, the community benefit programs of the El Camino Healthcare District and El Camino Health invest in organizations working to improve access to care and address the social, behavioral and physical factors that influence health. Together, the two organizations have contributed more than $111 million in community benefit grants over the past decade, supporting programs that serve residents across all ages, backgrounds, and income levels.

About the El Camino Healthcare District
The El Camino Hospital District was established by voter approval in 1956 in accordance with California Local Hospital District Law. The purpose of the District is to establish, maintain and operate or provide assistance in the operation of health facilities and other health care services, provider groups and organizations that are necessary for the maintenance of good physical and mental health in the communities served by the District.
