You might like being a docent (losgatan.com) — If you enjoy art and working with kids, Los Gatos' long-running Art Docents program is looking for new volunteers to bring creative lessons into local classrooms. Trained docents serve thousands of LGUSD students with hands-on projects, art history, and an annual public student art show, all supported by local foundations and community donations.
   

• Los Gatos mosque debate referenced in US Supreme Court case (losgatan.com) — A long-running Los Gatos mosque permit dispute over extended worship hours has now been cited repeatedly in a US Supreme Court case about religious land-use rights. Local Planning Commission conditions, neighborhood concerns on Farley Road, and Town Council delays could all be affected by how the high court rules on when religious groups can sue over zoning decisions.
