Be on the Lookout - Los Gatos Plein Air Artists in Town
34 nationally acclaimed artists will be painting in the town of Los Gatos – only on Thursday morning, June 18th
The annual Los Gatos Plein Air Fine Art Show & Exhibit is in progress! This year, for the first time, all artists will be painting in the town of Los Gatos on Thursday morning, June 18th. How can you find an artist and observe their creative process in person? Look on the Los Gatos Plein Air Facebook page for sightings of the artists, or just roam through town – with 34 artists, you’ll be sure to spot more than one artist at work.
See what inspires the artists, and how they interpret the unique character of Los Gatos on canvas. In addition, there are two planned events to view and purchase the final works created during the Plein Air week:

Friday, June 19, 7-10 p.m.: Ticket price $125, available at www.lgpleinair.org.
Meet the artists, enjoy fine wine and small plates specially crafted by the chef for the event. Artists will select one of their paintings from the week. Each of the paintings will be awarded to the highest bidder at the silent auction. Sign-up today to reserve your ticket to this traditionally sold-out event.

Plein Air Fine Art Exhibit & Sale, Los Gatos Town Plaza
Saturday, June 20, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Free Admission
Hundreds of fine art oils, pastels and watercolors will be available to view and purchase. Wine tasting from Santa Cruz Mountain wineries, live music, face painting and art sessions for kids 4 years old and up will also be featured. Open to the public.
Presented by the Los Gatos Morning Rotary, this 7th annual event benefits art and science education programs for youth in the community.
