These are some of the items that volunteers picked up along the Los Gatos Creek Trail at September 18th's California Coastal Cleanup event. Did you know that plastic wrappers can take five years to decompose in the environment, aluminum cans up to 200 years, and plastic bottles can take from 100-1,000 years! So always try to reduce use, reuse, and recycle single-use items.
