Suspicious Package Found At Google Building Rendered Safe
The building was evacuated this morning after the package was discovered.
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — A Google building was evacuated Friday morning after the discovery of a suspicious package that was eventually rendered safe, Mountain View police said.
Officers evacuated the building on the 2000 block of Casey Avenue after a suspicious package was reported “out of an abundance of caution,” police said.
Police requested assistance from a Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office bomb squad that at around 11:30 a.m. rendered the package safe according to police.
