Brush Fire On SR-85 Near Los Gatos Closes Freeway Ramp
Breaking: The brush fire in southwest San Jose resulted in a freeway ramp closure.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA -- A brush fire broke out along state Highway 85 in southwest San Jose near Los Gatos Thursday afternoon, forcing authorities to close down a freeway ramp and at least one freeway lane, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fire on the right shoulder of SR-85 near the Bascom Avenue exit was reported just before 4 p.m., according to CHP, resulting in the closure of the off-ramp.
The number two lane of the northbound SR-85 connector to state Highway 17 was also blocked as of 5 p.m., according to CHP.
