Meet Your Amazing Brain! - Free Interactive Neuroscience Workshop for Grades 5–8

Celebrate our nation’s 250th Sesquicentennial by participating in our Handwriting the&nbsp;Constitution community art project. Participants will transcribe portions of the U.S. Constitution&nbsp;on large&nbsp;foamcore&nbsp;whiteboards using black felt-tip markers. 
Participants at all levels of artistic skill are welcome. The transcriptions will be assembled into a single large-scale collective artwork-the entire U.S. Constitution written by diverse hands-and will be installed for the public in Los Gatos.
Participating in the handwriting sessions can be meditative, thought-provoking, and reflective. We hope that participants will have a renewed sense of the importance of, and appreciation for, our Constitution. We will collect comments, impressions and observations from participants about their experience.

The Monthly Craft is a drop-in, self-led artmaking activity that complements NUMU’s current exhibitions or seasonal themes. Activities are designed for a wide range of participants. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Please leave the space as you found it for others to enjoy.
