Coldwell Banker Los Gatos Hosts Free e-Waste Recycling
Event Friday, March 22 benefits Santa Clara County Hope Services, which supports people with developmental disabilities.

The event benefits Hope Services, which supports people with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, mental retardation, Down’s syndrome and other related conditions.
The Santa Clara County nonprofit organization collects all electronic waste, working or not, including computers, monitors, computer cables, mice, keyboards, VCRs, faxes, radios, printers, telephones, televisions, CPUs, monitors, stereos, speakers, DVD players, cell phones and recorders.

All materials donated will be safely recycled by State approved recycler ECS Recycling, nothing goes overseas, and will be used to create employment opportunities for people with developmental disabilities, the organization said on its website.
Residents can drop off e-waste at the Coldwell Banker Los Gatos location or arrange for an e-waste pickup at your company or home by calling 1-866.636.6283. Donations are tax-deductible as permitted by law. Hope is e-Stewards Certified.

The public can also donate used clothing.
