Coroner IDs Area Motorcyclist, 50, Killed Exiting Hwy 101 At Bernal Road
The accident was Friday night.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA -- A 50-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash late Friday night on U.S. Highway 101 in San Jose, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The motorcyclist has been identified as 50-year-old Rodrigo Nuno of Morgan Hill, according to the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office.
Officers responded to a report of a crash on Highway 101 at Bernal Road shortly after 11 p.m., CHP Officer Andrew Mendonca said.

An investigation showed Nuno was traveling north and took the exit to Bernal Road, where he made an unsafe turn and overturned, Mendonca said.
Nuno, who wore a helmet, was ejected from the 2013 Harley-Davidson bike and landed on the ground, according to Mendonca.

Emergency crews responded and pronounced him dead at the scene, Mendonca said.
Investigators are looking into whether drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash, according to Mendonca.
