Dammit Run: Steep, Grueling and Fun
Runners race from Los Gatos High School to Lexington Reservoir and back.
The was held Saturday morning at attracting about 600 participants who came out to challenge themselves in the vigorous 5-mile race.
Runners started off on the Los Gatos High School track, ran down the unpaved to make the climb up Lexington Reservoir.
They then continued up Jones Trail, looped around and headed back down the hill to College Avenue, re-entered the trail and finished on the Los Gatos High School track.

Dammit Run race director Bruce Springbett said about 600 people signed up to run the race which generates revenue for Los Gatos High School sports program.
After the race, runners enjoyed various vendor booths, a post-race raffle (prizes are donated by local merchants) and refreshments. Many headed over to the festival in downtown to celebrate.

The men's top three overall winners were:
Weston Strum, 19, first place
Richard Ho, 17, second place
Kevin Bishop, 17, third place
The women's top three overall winners were:
Yaritza Barajas, 17, first place
Amy Wu, 31, second place
Mary J. Vidovich, 47, third place
