DEA Bust Leads To South Bay Man's Arrest: Report

A San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of transporting 25 pounds of cocaine.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – A Drug Enforcement Administration bust involving two Bay Area trafficking rings led to a South Bay man's arrest, The Mercury News reports.

At least 31 pounds of methamphetamine and 13 pounds of cocaine were seized according to the report.

The San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of transporting 25 pounds of cocaine from Long Beach that investigators believe was ordered by a Redwood City man described as a “full time drug dealer” according to the report.

DEA agents found six pounds of meth and two pistols during a search of the Redwood City man’s home, the report said.

The Redwood City man has been charged according to the report.
