Come meet our wonderful group of animals, including toads, newts, snakes, turtles, chinchillas and more. You may even have the opportunity to touch a live animal!
The theme for this Saturday is Fur and Pelts. We will have special mammal specimens and pelts out for you and your family to feel, and learn about. Many of these items can be carefully touched under adult supervision. Most of these specimens will be out for Saturday only.
The Vasona Nature Center is located next to the Parks Administrative Building, up the hill. Stay to the right as you drive through the park. We are next to the last parking lot.
This is indoors, and would be a great thing to do with your family on a cold or rainy day!
Free Admission (the park charges a $6 park entry fee per vehicle).
