The first in our series is Oct 6, 2011, 6:30pm at Ristorante Da Mario with Guglielmo Winery. It’s a 5-course, Italian-themed menu, featuring wines like Rosatello, Sangiovese and Petite Sirah, plus music by Claudio Melega. Very reasonably priced at $65 per guest, $55 for Chamber members. There is a discount of 10% for parties of six or more.
Aperitif: Emile's Grand Cuvee- sparkling wine from Chenin Blanc & French Colombard grapes.

1st Course: Insalata mista with fresh beets, organic baby greens, goat cheese & a lemon vinaigrette. Served with a 2010 Rosatello, Estate grown.
2nd Course: Dungeness crab pancake served with an emulsified cold pressed olive oil. Served with a 2009 Private Reserve Chardonnay, Monterey County
3rd Course: Fresh orecchiette pasta with caponata & pecorino Toscano cheese. Served with 2007 Sangiovese, central California coast.
4th Course: Braised short ribs with a wild mushroom demi glaze. Served with a 2007 Petite Sirah, Santa Clara Valley.
5th Course: Classic Zabaione served with organic local berries & a vanilla biscotti. Served with a private reserve Eredita Port.
