The South Asian Heart Center (SAHC) will be covering the out-of-pocket expenses for an Advanced Heart Screening laboratory test (up to $100) for the first 100 women who register for this event. The screen is only to South Asians: those from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. Registration can be completed online at http://www.southasianheartcenter.org/newsevents/registerevents.php. Walk-ins will not be accepted at this event.
To qualify, this must be the first time an applicant has registered for an SAHC heart screen and they must register with a male partner (a husband, a family member, or a friend). The male partner's screening must be completed before the Day of Dance event. He will also pay the out-of-pocket expenses for his test.
In addition to the screening, the Day of Dance also includes free dance demonstrations, health education vendor booths, light refreshments, freebies, and prizes.
