On Wednesday, February 26, 2020, the Planning Commission made a recommendation to the Town Council on amendments to Chapter 29 (Zoning Regulations) of the Town Code to align with new State law regarding family daycare homes.

The new State law requires small and large family daycare homes to be allowed by right in all districts where residential uses are allowed. On Tuesday, March 17, 2020, the Town Council will consider the recommendation on the amendments.

The meeting agenda will be published no later than 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2020. Once published, you may view the agenda and related staff report on the Town website.
The community is welcome to submit written comments to Diego Mora at dmora@losgatosca.gov. Written comments received before 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 17, 2020, will be forwarded to the Town Council. The public is encouraged to attend the March 17, 2020 Town Council meeting at 7:00 p.m.
