Fisher Musical Theater Production "James and the Giant Peach" opens March 9th

Fisher Musical Theater’s production of Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach opens March 9th. The talented middle schoolers will perform 6 shows from March 9 -12. Fisher Middle School is among the first schools to present this new musical for the whole family to enjoy with a wickedly tuneful score by penned by LaLa Land Academy Award - nominated team, Pasek and Paul and a curiously quirky book by Timothy Allen McDonald. When James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, he discovers a magic potion that results in a tremendous peach... and launches a journey of enormous proportions.

Fisher Musical Theater’s illustrious director, Heather Stokes creates a magical spectacle that will transport theater-goers to a weird and wonderful realm with circus performers, magical crocodile tongues, nasty aunts and a peach that can fly! A delightfully offbeat adaptation of the classic Roald Dahl adventure, critics rave: James and the Giant Peach is a "masterpeach!"
