Happy 18th Leap Year B-Day, John!
Check this out! This Los Gatos resident is 72 years old today, but has only celebrated his actual DOB, Feb. 29, 18 times.
Los Gatos resident John Musser can claim he's only 18 years young today!
That's because he was born Feb. 29, 1940 and his actual DOB has only come around 18 times since he was first delivered into the world in his native Minnesotta.
To celebrate the joyous occasion, wife and his basketball "cronies," as she calls them, are giving him a big surprise party tonight.

"How many people do you know who actually have a leap year birthday?" asked Carol when discussing hubby's leap year coincidence. "Technically, he's 18."
During normal years, Musser, who's a member of the, says she celebrates on a day in February that's close to the actual leap year day.

The Mussers are the owners of the food production company A-1 Sandwich Inc. in South San Francisco. They've lived in Los Gatos since 1973. They have four children.
When he's not working, John enjoys competing in senior national competitions with his basketball friends who are regulars at the Jewish Community Center where they practice on Saturdays.
