Nonprofit groups helping fire victims are in need of cash assistance.
SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, CA — Thousands of Bay Area residents have been forced from their homes as wildfires ignited by lightning storms continue to tear through the region.
Nonprofit groups helping fire victims are in need of cash assistance. Anyone who is able to contribute is asked to consider donating to the following groups:
- Northern California Chapter of the American Red Cross
- GoFundMe has created sections for helping fire victims in Northern and Southern California
- The California Fire Foundation is accepting donations to help fire victims statewide
- The Santa Cruz Community Foundation Fire Response Fund
- The Santa Cruz County Volunteer link
- The Solano Disaster Relief Fund (Solano County)
- The Napa Valley Community Foundation (Napa County)
- Puente Pescadero (San Mateo County)
