Ashley Nicolei is friends with Los Gatos Native, Catalyst Club Owner. He invited Nicolei to his company's holiday dinner and Rebelution show in December of 2013. Before attending the live show (reggae rock band) Nicolei and the group dined at Hula's Island Grill in downtown Santa Cruz. If you enjoy a hawaiian asian fusion - Hula's is for you! Their watermelon cosmo is cocktail of choice and the poke is to die for. Make sure to alert your server to any food allergies prior to placing an order - the poke can be made tree nut safe but you must alert your server. Our server was "Hollis" and she was bright, knowledgeable, and offered exquisite customer service to our entire table. The restaurant manager "Rita" sure knows how to hire, staff, and train employees as well as offer a variety of tastes that will leave your palette satisfied.
