Hwy 101 Reopens All Lanes After Morning Multi-Vehicle Crash

One injured, and several cars damaged from debris following accident near Tully Road.

All lanes have reopened on southbound U.S. Highway 101 in San Jose this morning following a crash that caused minor injuries and left debris in the roadway that damaged other cars, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The initial crash was reported at 5:28 a.m. near the Tully Road off-ramp, CHP officials said. At least one person suffered minor injuries in the crash, according to CHP Officer Ron Simmons. Debris on the roadway, including nuts and bolts, caused damage to multiple cars driving on the highway, including blown-out tires, Simmons said.

The crash briefly prompted the closure of all southbound lanes of Highway 101.
