JCC in Los Gatos Announces 2018-19 Music Series
Performances by Metropolitan Opera National Council finalist Emily Misch, acclaimed pianist Neil Rutman, and Israeli vocalist Tal Katsir.

The JCC in Los Gatos has announced the performers for its 2018-19 music series.
On November 4, Metropolitan Opera National Council finalist Emily Misch will open the series with a concert at a private home. The rising star soprano will present a program featuring French and Italian arias, cello and guitar pieces, and Bernstein and Gershwin. Misch will be accompanied by Steven Lin of the SJSU music faculty on guitar, Peter Gelfand of the SJSU music faculty on cello, and Veronika Agranov-Dafoe, resident pianist of Opera San Jose, on piano. The concert starts at 3:00pm.
On December 18, acclaimed pianist Neil Rutman will present an eclectic evening of Debussy, Chopin, Gershwin, and Queen in APJCC Auditorium. Rutman has distinguished himself as a top prize winner at international competitions, received numerous awards, and performed in major concert venues around the world. Starting time is 7:00pm.

On March 10, Israeli musical artist Tal Katsir presents Diva Power in the APJCC Auditorium. Accompanied by guitarist Dida Pelled, Katsir will perform songs by Whitney Huston, Nina Simone, the Israeli singer Rita, and other great female vocalists. Starting time is 11:00am. This concert is timed to coincide with International Women’s Day, which is March 8.
