Los Gatos 3-Alarm Fire Heavily Damages Sports Bar

A sports bar in Los Gatos was heavily damaged in a three-alarm fire late Sunday night, according to the Santa Clara County Fire department.

LOS GATOS - A sports bar in Los Gatos was heavily damaged in a three-alarm fire late Sunday night, according to the Santa Clara County Fire department.

Fire officials said fire fighters responded at 11:41 p.m. to Double D's - Los Gatos Sports Grille located at 354 N. Santa Cruz Ave. on reports of smoke coming from the roof and flames coming from the inside of the building.

According to fire officials, firefighters worked overnight on both the interior and exterior of the building, slowing the fire's progress.

The fire was upgraded from a two-alarm to a three-alarm for crews to rotate resources.

Fire officials said San Jose firefighters assisted in putting out the blaze, which was brought under control at 1:50 a.m.

No injuries were reported.

Fire officials said crews were still on scene Monday morning as an investigation into the cause of the blaze continues.
