Los Gatos’ AJ Allmendinger Captures NASCAR Win
Allmendinger, who also works as a motor sports television broadcaster, called a race after celebrating his second in 10 starts.
LOS GATOS, CA – AJ Allmendinger described the conditions as “miserable,” and “no fun.”
But the results were sweet for the Los Gatos-raised Allmendinger, who won an important Xfinity Series NASCAR race Saturday amid torrential rains at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

“I don’t know what we just witnessed,” Allmendinger told reporters according to The Associated Press.

“I was complaining the whole race. That was miserable. Crazy. Those conditions, to me, it’s not a lot of fun. “I thought at times it was dangerous, the hydroplaning. At times I thought we should have stopped it.”
