Los Gatos' Art Haus Gallery Closing Permanently Next Month

Julie Jenkins, the owner of the gallery who has spent 25 years as an art dealer, said in a Facebook post that she is retiring.

LOS GATOS, CA — Los Gatos-based art gallery JCO’s Art Haus is closing permanently on April 2.

Julie Jenkins, the owner of the gallery who has spent 25 years as an art dealer, said in a Facebook post that she is retiring and planning to move away from the day-to-day operations of a physical gallery.

“I thank you all for your support in my mission to making art affordable and accessible for all,” Jenkins wrote. “I thank all the amazingly talented artists I’ve had the honor of representing.”

The gallery will hold a final storewide sale April 2, where all remaining works will be discounted at up to 50 percent off.

Art Haus’ hours are Wednesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is located at 805 University Ave. There will also be a reception on April 2.

“I hope the arts will live on in your lives for generations, as it does for me and my family,” Jenkins said. “Once a collector, always a collector.”
