Los Gatos Brush Fire 100 % Contained
Evacuations had been ordered in the Redwood Estates area when the brush fire broke out in the early morning hours.

LOS GATOS, CA — With the help of the rain, firefighters got the upperhand on a brushfire burning in the Redwood Estates area in Los Gatos early Sunday morning.
The wildfire triggered evacuations in the area as crews dealt with downed power lines in rainy conditions.
The fire broke out in the area of 20730 Brush Road area off of Highway 17, Cal Fire reported shortly after 3:15 a.m. Sunday. The blaze scorched more than three acres before crews were able to completely contain it.

Shortly after 7:30 a.m., Cal Fire announced 100 percent containment of the blaze. Rainy conditions in the area helped slowed the spread of the fire.
