Los Gatos Celebrates the 250th–A Mayor's Perspective
The Veterans Memorial & Support Foundation was honored to participate in the Town of Los Gatos' celebration of America's 250th anniversary.

For two and a half centuries, the American spirit has thrived in the communities we call home. To honor this historic milestone, here is LOS GATOS MAYOR ROB MOORE with a special Semiquincentennial message brought to you by The Veterans Memorial & Support Foundation.

The VETERANS MEMORIAL & SUPPORT FOUNDATION was born from a simple conviction: that the men and women who served this country deserve to be remembered publicly and supported personally — not one or the other, but both.
The Foundation's signature achievement stands in permanent testimony to that conviction: the Flame of Liberty Memorial, a landmark project conceived, championed, and completed under the Foundation's leadership. But a memorial, however moving, was never the end of the mission. It was the beginning.

Today, the Foundation carries its work forward in three ways:
- Connection. Isolation is one of the quietest threats veterans face after service. The Foundation creates networking opportunities that bring veterans back into community with one another, restoring the camaraderie that so many describe as the thing they miss most.
- Comfort. When families travel to be at the bedside of a loved one at the local VA hospital, the Foundation delivers food and daily necessities, so that no family has to choose between presence and provisions.
- Recovery. The Foundation provides products that enhance veterans' rehabilitation — practical tools that help those who sacrificed their bodies reclaim their independence.
