Los Gatos High Alum Battles For NFL Roster Spot: Report

Nick Bawden's primary value to the Lions is as a blocker and special teams contributor.

DETROIT, MI — Former Los Gatos High football standout Nick Bawden is locked in a competitive battle for a roster spot with the Detroit Lions, USA Today’s LionsWire reports.

Bawden has been limited by two ACL injuries to playing in just 10 games since being drafted by Detroit out San Diego State in the seventh round of the 2018 draft (237th overall).

His primary value to the Lions is as a blocker and special teams contributor, the report said.
