Los Gatos High To Hold 20th Annual Fractured Follies Talent Show
Los Gatos High School's Fractured Follies talent show, scheduled for 7 pm May 23-24 at the school, will raise money for fire victims.

LOS GATOS, CA -- Los Gatos High School teachers, administrators, and staff will be teaming up for the 20th annual “Fractured Follies” talent show on May 23 and 24 at 7 pm in the LGHS Theater.
Each year, Fractured Follies serves as an end-of-the-year celebration and a kind of “love letter” to that year’s graduating class. The show also raises money for a selected organization, and this year funds will go to the North Valley Community Foundation, which has been helping provide direct relief to victims of last November’s Camp Fire in and around Paradise, California.
The show brings together teachers from various departments, as well as administrators and classified staff, for choreographed dances, dramatic skits, musical numbers, and more – with featured numbers by the Teacher Band, made up of Kroesche, Matt Holm, Steve Hammack, Alex Chapman, Don Weller and Dan Ross.

The show began when De Soto was raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training program in honor of her one of her closest childhood friends, who died of leukemia when she was 21. Over the years, the show has raised funds for not only the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, but for many other worthy organizations including Bay Area Cancer Connections, the Cancer Discovery Fund at Stanford University Medical Center, the U.S. Hurricane Relief Fund, Hope Enterprises, and the Second Harvest Food Bank.
“The show is just a win-win-win as far as I can see,” Desoto said. “The students love it, the staff love it, and we raise funds for all kinds of important causes.”
