Los Gatos Police Seek St. Joseph's Hill Preserve Assault Suspect
Police encouraged people to hike in pairs and take other precautions when going to the trails.

LOS GATOS, CA — Los Gatos police are searching for a suspect in an assault that occurred on the Manzanita Trail at the St. Joseph’s Hill Open Space Preserve on Sunday.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic man who is 5-foot-5 inches tall and 150 pounds. He has a shaved or bald head, and was wearing all black with a blue bandana covering his face. He also had a dark-colored hiking style backpack.
The incident occurred around 5 p.m. Sunday.
