Los Gatos' Search For Applicants To Fill New Role Is Pure Poetry

LOS GATOS, CA — The town of Los Gatos is seeking applicants for a new poet laureate.

This honorary position will be selected by the Town Poet Laureate Selection Committee and appointed by Town Council.

Originally established in 2010, the poet laureate actively works to promote poetry and literature in the Town of Los Gatos.

The Poet Laureate will serve a three-year term beginning in early 2021 and ending in December of 2023.

Applications are required to be town residents over the age of 18 and have had poetry published or been recognized for contributions to poetry or other literature.
