Los Gatos Seeks Applicants For Youth, Adult Commissions

A number of town boards and commissions, including the Youth Commission and Parks Committee, are seeking resident volunteers.

LOS GATOS, CA — The Town of Los Gatos is accepting applications for a number of town boards and committees, including the Youth Commission.

The town is looking to fill adult volunteer vacancies on the:

  • Building Board of Appeals
  • Community Health & Senior Services Commission
  • Historic Preservation Committee
  • Parks Commission
  • Personnel Board

Applications are due by Friday, March 25 at 4 p.m. Interviews are scheduled for Tuesday, April 5 at 5 p.m. Full instructions and more information can be found by clicking on the link.

The town is also accepting applications for the Youth Commission, which is open to any student entering grade 8-12 for the 2022/23 school year. The Youth Commission is designed to “foster and encourage civic and neighborhood pride and a sense of identity through the knowledge, understanding, and increased involvement of the Town's youth in the Town's present and future municipal affairs,” according to a town announcement.

Youth Commission applications are due May 6 by 4 p.m., and interviews will take place May 16 at 4 pm. Applications can be found here.
