Los Gatos Union School District Schools Closure

Dear Los Gatos Union School District Community,

First and foremost, the safety and health of our students and staff is our top priority. We acknowledge that these are unprecedented and difficult times but rest assured that our entire staff cares deeply about the health and well-being of the community, our students and staff.

Under the guidance of the Santa Clara County Public Health Department and Santa Clara County Office of Education, the Los Gatos Union School District schools will be closed beginning Monday, March 16, 2020. The closure will continue through the end of the regularly scheduled spring break (April 10, 2020). This decision has not been made lightly and we know that the impacts to our families will be significant.

We will continue to work with guidance from the health department to plan for schools to return to normal operations as soon as possible.

Our district office will remain open. We will be working with our principals, teachers, and staff this afternoon and Monday to solidify our remote learning opportunities. We will share more information with the community about this on Monday afternoon.
