Los Gatos Workshop Aims To Make Town More Inclusive

Town Councilmember Marico Sayoc facilitated the workshop.

LOS GATOS, CA — Los Gatos will hold a virtual community workshop later this month that aims to create a more inclusionary environment in the South Bay town.

The teleconference will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. on Zoom. It can also be viewed on television and on the town’s YouTube page.

Town Councilmember Marico Sayoc facilitated the workshop.

Mayor Marcia Jensen will open the workshop before a community panel that includes Netflix Executive Jon Hicks, Rabbi of Congregation Shir Hadash Melanie Aron, and Los Gatos High School student Nika Sabouri.

Community members participating in the workshop will split up into Zoom Breakout Rooms for more in-depth discussions regarding social change and how Los Gatos can be more welcoming for all.
