Los Gatos Youth Theatre Holds Auditions

Summer is right around the corner, and that means it's time to sign your budding thespians up for Los Gatos Youth Theatre.

Since its inception four years ago, LGYT has offered kids off many ages both a chance to shine on stage, and create lasting friendships. The fifth year since its inception in 2009, LGYT will present a slew of exciting shows this summer.

Full productions of "Suessical Jr." (ages 7-12), and "13" (ages 13-16) are slated, along several performance camps including "Winnie the Pooh, Kids" (ages 6-10), "Annie Jr." (ages 6-12) and "Dear Edwina, Jr." (ages 7-12). Also offered: two theatre workshop camps where kids can participate in daily acting, dance and voice workshops.

“I enjoy LGYT because it's fun to socialize with my friends, and I like theater," says Tanner Ratcliff, a four-year veteran. "I'm looking forward to 13—it's a hip, exciting show."

Auditions will be held May 2 and 4 (Seussical Jr.); May 10 and 11 (13).
