Man Arrested For Nearly a Dozen Shootings Along Roadway: Police
Shell casings link the suspect to at least four shootings along Blossom Hill Road, according to police.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — A man wanted in connection with nearly a dozen shootings along Blossom Hill Road in San Jose was arrested Wednesday evening, according to San Jose police.
Police said, Michael Lewis, 30, of San Jose, was arrested Aug. 14 for unrelated charges, and during a search of his residence detectives allegedly discovered a handgun.
The handgun along with shell casings found at the scene of the shootings were submitted to the crime lab for analysis.

It was determined that the bullets from the scene matched the handgun in four of the shootings, according to police.

Lewis will be booked into the Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of four counts of attempted murder, and an outstanding felony warrant for a felon in possession of a handgun.
Chief Eddie Garcia said in a statement, "The work that the men and women of this department have done in the last three weeks is nothing short of amazing. In light of everything going on, our officers' dedication to the
residents of this city is beyond reproach."
