Man Killed When Truck Goes Off Cliff At Almaden Quicksilver County Park
The 50-year-old was declared dead at the scene this morning, CHP said. [Breaking]

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA – A man is dead after a truck he was driving went off a cliff this morning south of San Jose, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
The crash was first reported to the CHP at 9:15 a.m. at Hicks and Alamitos roads on the edge of Almaden Quicksilver County Park.
CHP Officer Ross Lee said a 50-year-old man was driving a three-axle diesel truck when it went off the cliff and stopped 100 feet down.

Paramedics declared the man dead at the scene, according to Lee.
None of the truck's fuel leaked. CHP officers are still investigating why the truck went off the cliff.
