McGill Teak Opens in Los Gatos

Just in time for spring, new patio furniture store McGill Teak is about to have its ribbon-cutting ceremony.

According to the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce, the business will have its grand opening celebration at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 9 at 210-A No. Santa Cruz Ave.

Local homeowners looking to beautify their yards and gardens with comfortable outdoor chairs and tables will also be happy to know that McGill Teak has locations in Redwood City and San Jose.

Its products are distributed in North America and Europe and are made from Indonesian plantation teakwood.

The local store, which will called McGill Patio, will continue the company's focus on being environmentally friendly, partnering with the nonprofit organization “Plant for the furniture."

Every time a product is sold, the company plants at least two new trees in the name of the customer buying the piece of furniture.

The business sells dining sets, benches and also chushions, umbrellas and furniture protection products.
